About Me

Photo of Alex Brown

I graduated from Leeds University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Broadcasting (Hons) – a course jointly run by the BBC which included extensive training in TV production.

I then worked for many years within the radio industry, most recently at York’s Minster FM, where I was initially a presenter, before becoming Digital Content Controller in 2016.

During my time in radio, I also worked extensively on stations’ visual branding, brand identity and website design, and more recently, video production.

In my spare time, as a lover of nature and the great outdoors, I’m often to be found running, walking or cycling through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, or tending to my honeybees or chickens.
